400 gms fresh paneer
1/2 cup corn flour
1/4 cup maida
1/2 tsp salt
fresh pepper
water
1 tbsp oil
chopped garlic
chopped ginger
4 red chilies
1 onion
1 capsicum
1 tsp vinegar
2 tsp soy sauce
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp red chili sauce
1 tsp Kashmiri red chili powder
spring onion whites
corn flour slurry
chopped spring onion greens

Cut the paneer into large cubes and keep them aside.

To a bowl, add corn flour, maida, salt, fresh pepper and give it a quick mix.

Add a little water to make this mixture into a nice batter.

Dip the paneer pieces into the batter and coat them fully.

Pour oil for deep frying in a kadai.

Drop the paneer pieces into the hot oil and fry them till they turn golden brown in color.

Remove them from the kadai and keep aside.

To a wok, add oil, garlic, ginger, red chilies and saute.

Then add onions, capsicum and stir fry.

Add salt, pepper and stir fry for about 3 mins.

Now add vinegar, soya sauce, tomato ketchup, red chili sauce, red chili powder and mix well.

Add a little water, mix well, add spring onion whites and stir.

Add the corn flour slurry, mix and add the fried paneer pieces.

Mix everything well and add the spring onion greens.

Serve the Chili Paneer hot.
