4 cups Milk
1 cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Cardamom powder
1/2 cup Cashew nuts
1/2 cup Kismis/Raisins
3 tablespoons Ghee
1 cup Raw rice
1 cup Cooked rice
1 cup Grated coconut
1/2 cup Jaggery
1/2 cup Coconut pieces
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Baking powder
2 tablespoons Oil

Prepare the ada by soaking it in water and then steaming it until soft.

In a pot, combine milk and sugar, and bring to a boil.

Add the prepared ada to the milk mixture and stir well.

Cook until the payasam thickens to your desired consistency.
