Chop 10 large fresh tomatoes and set aside.

In a white pan, add 50 grams of unsalted softened butter and melt it.

Add 6 to 7 finely chopped cloves of garlic and 1 bay leaf; sauté for about a minute.

Add 2 small chopped onions and sauté until transparent, about 2 minutes.

Add 2 cups of water (500 ml) and cook the mixture for 10 to 15 minutes until the tomatoes and carrots are mushy.

Transfer the cooked mixture to a mixer jar and blend to a fine puree, adding water if required.

Pour the puree through a sieve to strain it completely for a smooth texture.
