Traditionally served during gatherings and special occasions, it embodies the warmth of Turkish hospitality. Today, this soup is enjoyed across Turkey and beyond, often adapted with local ingredients and preferences.

Olive oil reduces saturated fat while adding flavor.

Greek yogurt adds creaminess with fewer calories.
Take 250g of ground beef in a suitable bowl.
Add salt, black pepper, and finely chopped parsley to the beef.
Knead the mixture well.
Make balls the size of hazelnuts from the prepared meat mixture.
Put the meatballs on a plate where flour is sprinkled.
Coat the meatballs completely with flour.
Put oil in a pot and start frying 1 finely chopped onion.
After the onions caramelize, add 1 teaspoon of tomato paste and 1 teaspoon of pepper paste.
Fry the pastes until their smell comes out.
Add 7 cups of hot water to the pot.
Add the prepared meatballs to the boiling water and mix carefully.
Add 1.5 cups of noodles and reduce the heat.
Meanwhile, prepare the yogurt sauce by adding 2 cloves of grated garlic to 1 cup of yogurt.
Add some of the soup water to the yogurt sauce and warm it up.
Add the yogurt sauce to the soup and boil for another 5 minutes on low heat.
