Greek yogurt reduces calories while maintaining creaminess
Add 1 tablespoon of butter to a pot and wait for it to melt.
Add 2 medium onions, diced into cubes, to the melted butter and stir to soften the onions.
Once the onions are soft, add 2 tablespoons of flour and cook for about 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Gradually add 5 cups of water while stirring to prevent lumps, and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, add 1 teaspoon of salt and a pinch of black pepper, and continue boiling for another 5 minutes.
After boiling for 5 minutes, reduce the heat to low and add 1/2 package of cream, stirring to combine.
Continue to cook on low heat for another 5 minutes with the cream added.
Turn off the heat and let the soup cool slightly before serving.
Do not cover the pot while the soup is cooling.
