1 tablespoon coriander powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
1 teaspoon salt
2 bay leaves
2 tablespoons chopped green cilantro
1 teaspoon cornstarch

Blend 2 medium size tomatoes, 1 green chili, and small piece of ginger until smooth.

Fry the cubed paneer on medium heat until it has a light pink color.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pot on medium-high until warm but not smoking.

Add a pinch of hing and 1 teaspoon of cumin seeds; wait until the cumin seeds start cracking.

Add the blended tomato puree to the pot and let it cook for about 2 minutes.

After 4 minutes of cooking, add the spices: 1 tablespoon of coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric, and 2 bay leaves; stir-fry for another minute.

Mix in 1/2 cup of yogurt and stir; if thick, add a couple of spoons of water to the mixture.

Let it cook for about 2 minutes while stirring to keep the yogurt smooth.

After 2 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of cornstarch mixed with a couple of spoons of water and 1 teaspoon of salt.

Add 1/2 cup of green peas and cook for 1 minute.

Add 1 teaspoon of garam masala and the fried paneer; cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.

After 2 minutes of cooking, turn off the heat and pour the dish into a serving dish.
