Traditionally enjoyed with various curries, it reflects the region's culinary heritage, where bread is a staple. Today, this naan has gained popularity across India and beyond, often found in Indian restaurants worldwide, celebrated for its deliciousness and versatility.

In a bowl, combine 1 cup wheat flour and 1 cup all-purpose flour.
Add 1 tablespoon semolina, 0.5 teaspoon baking soda, and 0.5 teaspoon baking powder to the flour mixture.
Add 2 tablespoons ghee and 4 tablespoons yogurt to the bowl.
Mix everything well and then add water to form a soft dough.
Grease the dough with a little ghee or oil and let it rest for 15 minutes.
For the stuffing, grate 400 grams of potatoes and add optional paneer.
Add ginger, green chilies, and 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves to the potatoes.
Mix in 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1 teaspoon fennel seeds, and 0.5 teaspoon amchur powder, adjusting salt to taste.
Add garam masala and mix everything well.
Divide the dough into four equal parts and roll each into a ball.
Flatten a dough ball, place stuffing in the center, and fold the edges to seal it.
Roll the stuffed dough gently into a flat disc, using ghee or oil on the surface.
Heat a tawa (griddle) on low flame and place the naan on it, applying water on the other side.
Cook for about 40-50 seconds on low flame.
Flip the naan and place it upside down in a pressure cooker to cook for another 30-40 seconds.
To add a smoky flavor, place a piece of coal in a bowl, add ghee on top, and cover for 30-40 seconds.
Once done, crush the naan into pieces with your hands and serve.
