1/2 cup grated coconut
2 dried red chilies
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 teaspoon coriander seeds
3 cloves garlic
1 tamarind ball
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 cup water

Shelled and deveined prawns are mixed with salt and set aside for 30 minutes.

Peeled semi ripe mango is cut into small pieces, salted, and kept aside.

In a mixer jar, add grated coconut, dried red chilies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, garlic, tamarind ball, turmeric powder, and some water. Grind into a fine thick paste.

In a vessel, heat coconut oil and add chopped onion and slit green chilies. Sauté for 10 minutes until the onions are light brown in color.

Add the ground curry paste along with the residual water to the sautéed onions. Mix well and bring to a boil.

Once boiling, add the raw mango pieces followed by the prawns. Mix well and cook for around 10 to 15 minutes.

Add salt according to your preference.

Serve the curry with rice and some fried fish and salad.
