Take 250 gm of paneer, preferably frozen or one-day-old fresh paneer, not malai paneer.

Add salt and ground black pepper to the paneer.

Add 1 teaspoon of red chili sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of vinegar, and 1/2 teaspoon of red chili powder to the paneer and mix well.

Add 3 teaspoons of flour and 2 teaspoons of cornstarch to the mixture and coat the paneer evenly.

Heat oil in a kadai (wok).

Add 2 tablespoons of minced garlic to the hot oil and fry until fragrant.

Add slit green chilies, 1 teaspoon of chili flakes, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper to the garlic.

Pour in 2 teaspoons of soy sauce and 2 tablespoons of green chili sauce into the pan.

Add a little red chili powder and salt to taste, mixing everything well.

Add the coated paneer to the pan and toss it gently with the sauce.

If using, add diced bell pepper and toss until slightly crisp, being careful not to overcook them.
