1 tsp besan
1 cup tomato puree
1 cup hot water
salt to taste
250 gms paneer
1 tbsp kasuri methi

Heat 3-4 tsp ghee in a pan until melted.

Add a piece of cinnamon, a star anise, 1-2 bay leaves, and green cardamom; fry for 30-40 seconds.

Add finely chopped onion and fry until golden brown, about 7-8 minutes.

Add 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste, 1 tsp kitchen king masala, 1 tsp coriander powder, and 1 tsp bedgi mirchi powder; mix well and fry for another 2 minutes.

Move the masala to the side of the pan, add 1 tsp besan, and fry for about a minute.

Mix the roasted besan with the onion masala.

Add 1 cup tomato puree and cook for 4-5 minutes until the puree cooks well.

Add 1 cup hot water and salt to taste; cook for about 2 minutes.

Add 250 gms chopped paneer and cook for 3-4 minutes, being careful not to overcook the paneer.

Add 1 tbsp kasuri methi and mix well; cook for another 3-4 minutes.
