Honey is a natural sweetener.

1

Start by making rabdi; add 0.5 liters of milk to a pan and cook until it reduces.

2

Add fresh bread crumbs to the milk and mix well.

3

Add sugar to the mixture, keeping it less sweet since jalebi is already sweet.

4

Cook until the rabdi thickens and then set aside.

5

For the sugar syrup, combine 1.5 cups of sugar with 1 cup of water in a pan and heat until dissolved.

6

For the jalebi batter, mix 2 cups of all-purpose flour with 1 tablespoon of ghee and 1 packet of baking soda.

7

Gradually add water to the flour mixture while mixing until a smooth batter forms.

8

Add food color to the batter for a vibrant look.

9

Heat oil in a kadhai to about half an inch deep.

10

Fill a piping bag with the batter and pipe into the hot oil in circular shapes.

11

Fry the jalebis until they puff up and turn golden brown.

12

Soak the fried jalebis in the warm sugar syrup for about 1 minute before removing.
