1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon red chili sauce
1/2 teaspoon vinegar

Soak 1 cup basmati rice in water for half an hour.

In a pot, add water, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon oil; bring to a boil.

Once boiling, add the soaked rice and 1 teaspoon lemon juice; cook on high flame until soft.

Turn off the gas and drain the rice; let it cool on a plate or use a fan to speed up cooling.

Once cooled, refrigerate the rice for half an hour to set.

In a kadhai, heat 2 tablespoons of oil on high flame.

Add 1 tablespoon minced garlic, 1/2 inch minced ginger, 2 chopped green chilies, and 1 chopped onion; sauté for 1-1.5 minutes on high flame.

Add chopped carrot and beans; fry for 2 minutes on high flame until slightly cooked but still crunchy.

Add chopped bell pepper, chopped cabbage, boiled sweet corn, and green onions; you can also add boiled peas if desired.

Fry the vegetables for another 1-2 minutes on high flame, ensuring they remain crunchy.

Add the cooled rice to the vegetables; mix well.

Season with salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon red chili sauce, and 1/2 teaspoon vinegar; adjust to taste.

Mix everything gently on high flame until well combined and heated through.
