1

Soak the dried glass noodles in water.

2

Peel and mince garlic.

3

Wash the coriander stalks thoroughly and shave off hair-like roots from the coriander root.

4

Cut the root and lower part of the coriander stems into smaller pieces and set aside with the minced garlic.

5

Set aside the leaves and the upper part of the coriander stems separately.

6

Optionally cut the glass noodles to make it easier for serving later.

7

Remove the glass noodles from water and spread them on the plate to be used for steaming.

8

Clean the prawns by trimming off prickly parts with scissors.

9

Bend the prawns to find the gap between the brown head and the shell of the body, then carefully cut the shell all the way to the tail.

10

Use a knife to split open the prawn like a butterfly opening its wings and rinse under running water.

11

Line the cleaned prawns on top of the glass noodles and place half of the coriander leaves on top.

12

Pour sesame oil into a pan and heat it.

13

Add minced garlic and coriander roots to the pan and stir-fry until fragrant with light browning.

14

Add light soy sauce and dark soy sauce to the pan, followed by fish sauce, and stir.

15

Add water to the mixture and bring it to a boil.

16

Scoop the mixture onto the prawns, ensuring the minced garlic is on the prawns and the glass noodles are soaked with the mixture.

17

Steam the prawns on high heat until cooked.

18

Once done, turn off the heat and remove from the steamer, garnishing with the remaining coriander before serving.
