Pork Siomai

1 kilo ground Pork
1/4 kilo Shrimp
1 cup Leeks or spring onions, chopped
1 large Carrot, finely chopped
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Sugar
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 and 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil
2 tbsp Oyster Sauce
1 large Egg

In a large bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, green onions, grated carrots, minced garlic, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined.

Take a siomai wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center.

Gather the edges of the wrapper and pinch to seal, leaving the top open.

Repeat the process until all the filling is used up.

Prepare a steamer by bringing water to a boil.

Place the siomai in the steamer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.

Cover and steam for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pork is fully cooked.

Serve hot with soy sauce or chili sauce for dipping.
