500g lamb or goat meat, cut into cubes
2 large onions, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup yogurt
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 inch ginger, grated
2-3 green chilies, slit
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Stir in minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking for another minute.

Add the meat cubes and cook until browned on all sides.

Mix in chopped tomatoes, green chilies, and salt; cook until tomatoes soften.

Add yogurt, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder; mix well.

Cover and cook on low heat for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
