1 cup Chhena (fresh paneer)
100 g Grated Mawa/Khoya (unsweetened)
2 tbsp Milk powder
2 tbsp Maida
2 tbsp Sooji
2 tbsp Powdered sugar
⅛ tsp Cardamom powder
⅛ tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Ghee (for kneading)
Oil or ghee (for deep frying)
2 cups Sugar (for sugar syrup)
2 cups Water (for sugar syrup)
2–3 Cardamom pods (for sugar syrup)
Saffron (optional, for sugar syrup)

In a mixing bowl, combine chhena, grated mawa, milk powder, maida, sooji, powdered sugar, cardamom powder, baking soda, and ghee.

Knead the mixture until it forms a smooth dough.

Shape the dough into small balls.

Heat oil or ghee in a deep frying pan.

Fry the balls on low heat until they turn golden brown.

In another pot, combine sugar and water to make the sugar syrup, adding cardamom pods and saffron if using.

Once the syrup is ready, add the fried balls and let them soak for a while before serving.
