180 gms cauliflower
500 gms chopped tomatoes
3 tbsp butter
150 gms finely chopped onions
1/2 tsp jeera (cumin seeds)
2 tbsp chilli powder
2 tbsp garlic and ginger paste
1 medium chopped capsicum
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp Pav Bhaji Masala (or Garam Masala)
salt to taste
red edible colour (optional)
water as required
lemon slice
chopped onions
chopped coriander
toasted pav

In a pan, add cumin seeds, fennel seeds, onions, and capsicum and mix well.

Add the ginger and garlic paste, and sauté it.

Add Pav Bhaji masala/garam masala, turmeric, chilli powder, and salt to taste, and mix well.

Add green peas and mix the entire contents thoroughly.

Boil the potatoes and cauliflower, then add the mashed pulp into the pan and mix evenly.

Add red food colour (optional).

To adjust the consistency, add water and keep it on a slow simmer, covering the pan with a lid, and let it cook for about 10 minutes.

Add butter and coriander leaves, and cook for about 2 minutes.

Apply butter to the pav and toast them on a pan.

Serve the street-style Pav Bhaji piping hot with lemon, chopped onions, chopped coriander, and butter.
