1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 onion, finely chopped
2 green chilies, slit
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add chopped onions and green chilies, sauté until onions are golden brown.

Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute until fragrant.

Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates from the mixture.

Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt; cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Add the paneer cubes and gently mix to coat them with the spices.

Sprinkle garam masala over the paneer and stir gently.

Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the paneer to absorb the flavors.
