500 grams paneer
2 tablespoons ghee or oil
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
1 onion, finely chopped
2 green chilies, slit
1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste
2 tomatoes, pureed
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon garam masala
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Heat the milk in a pot until it comes to a boil.

Once boiling, add the lemon juice and stir gently until the milk curdles.

Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes.

Strain the curds using a cheesecloth or fine mesh strainer to separate the whey.

Rinse the curds under cold water to remove the lemon flavor.

Press the curds to remove excess water and shape them into a block.
