1.5 liters full cream milk
1/3 cup sama rice
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cardamom powder
dry fruits (coconut, chironji, raisins, almonds, pistachios)

Soak the sama rice in water for at least 30 minutes.

Soak the clay pot in water for 2-3 hours before use.

Add 1.5 liters of full cream milk to the clay pot and heat it on medium-high flame until it boils.

Once the milk is boiling, add the soaked sama rice to the pot.

Stir continuously to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom.

Cook for about 10-12 minutes until the rice is well cooked.

Add dry fruits (coconut, chironji, raisins, almonds, pistachios) to the mixture.

Add less than 1/2 cup of sugar, adjusting to taste.

Cook until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture thickens.

Add 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder and mix well.

Turn off the flame and let it cool in the clay pot before serving.
