Add 1 cup water to a pot.

Add 2 cups sugar and mix until dissolved for 3-4 minutes.

Add 4 cups of fine semolina to the ghee and roast on low-medium flame for about 25 minutes until light golden brown.

Once roasted, add the sugar syrup mixture to the semolina and mix well.

Cook for another 10 minutes on low-medium flame, then increase to high flame to dry out the mixture.

Add nuts, raisins, and grated coconut to the mixture and mix well.

Press the mixture into a greased tray and let it set for 2.5 hours.

Cut into diamond shapes while still warm.
