2 tomatoes (make puree)
4 cloves garlic
2 inches ginger
1 green chilli
2 TBSP chana masala
2 Tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
coriander leaves
salt
4 TBSP oil
1 cup water
1 tsp cumin seeds

In a pan, add oil and onions, sauté till onions turn light brown.

Remove and add to the blender; in that blender add ginger, garlic, green chilli and blend into a smooth paste.

In a pan, add oil and cumin seeds, onion paste and sauté for a minute.

Add turmeric powder, chilli powder and tomato puree, cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes.

After 5 minutes, add chana masala powder, salt and mix well.

Now add tomato puree and mix well, cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes.

Now add boiled chickpeas and mix well; cover and cook for 5 minutes.

Now add water (1 cup) and cover the lid, cook for 10 minutes on low heat.

When done, add coriander leaves.
