Heat gingerly oil in a pan.

Add 5-6 cloves of garlic and crackle mustard seeds.

Add 2 small finely chopped tomatoes, mix, and cook until mashed.

Add 1/2 cup of water to create gravy, and cook until desired consistency is reached.

Add marinated small prawns, mix well, and cook for 3-4 minutes until prawns are cooked.

Add crushed pepper halfway through cooking the prawns.

Add 1/2 tablespoon of tamarind pulp for sourness, based on taste.

Once prawns are cooked and mixed with the masalas, finish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
