Kale Chips

6 cups kale leaves
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 and 1/2 to 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
1 and 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
salt to taste

Preheat your oven to 250°F.

Line a half sheet pan with parchment paper.

Remove the kale leaves from the stems and discard the stems.

Rinse the kale if using a loose bunch; bagged kale is pre-washed.

Fill the half sheet pan with the kale leaves, packing them in as much as possible.

Drizzle 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil over the kale leaves.

Add 1 and 1/2 to 2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast, 1 and 1/4 teaspoons of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of onion powder on top of the kale.

Massage the oil and spices into the kale leaves until they are fully coated and no dry leaves remain.

Bake the kale chips in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until they are dry and crunchy.

Once done, add salt to taste before serving.
