1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 cup oranges, peeled and segmented
1 cup bananas, sliced
1 cup kiwis, peeled and sliced
1 cup mangoes, peeled and sliced
1 cup grapes, halved
1 cup heavy cream
8 slices white bread

If using, mix the whipped cream with sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.

Slice the mixed fresh fruits into thin pieces.

Take two slices of bread and spread a generous layer of whipped cream on one side of each slice.

Layer the sliced fruits on top of the whipped cream on one slice of bread.

Cover the fruit layer with another slice of bread, cream side down, to form a sandwich.

Repeat the process with the remaining bread and fruit to make another sandwich.

Wrap the sandwiches in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set.

After chilling, remove from the fridge and cut the sandwiches into halves or quarters.
