2 cups all purpose flour (Maida)
6 tablespoons desi ghee
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons corn flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
3 green cardamom
1 teaspoon lemon juice
oil for frying

In a bowl, mix together the all purpose flour, corn flour, salt, and 3 tablespoons of desi ghee until crumbly.

Add water gradually to form a dough, then knead until smooth.

Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Roll out the dough into small circles and deep fry them in hot oil until golden and crispy.

In a separate pot, combine sugar, water, green cardamom, and lemon juice to make the sheera (syrup).

Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer until it thickens slightly.

Once the puris are fried, dip them into the sheera and serve.
