Cut 400 grams of paneer into medium-sized sticks, cutting them again in half to make finger-shaped pieces.
In a wide bowl, mix 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, 1 teaspoon Kashmiri chili powder, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper powder, 1 teaspoon cumin powder, 1 teaspoon chaat masala, 1 teaspoon garam masala, and some kasuri methi.
Add the paneer pieces to the spice mixture and coat them well. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
For the batter, take 250 ml of gram flour, add 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon chili powder, and 1 teaspoon cumin powder, and mix well.
Gradually add 1 cup of water to the flour mixture until it reaches a pouring consistency, ensuring there are no lumps.
After 15 minutes, add 1 teaspoon of oil and chopped fresh coriander to the marinated paneer and mix well.
Coat the marinated paneer pieces in the gram flour batter, ensuring they are well covered, and set aside for another 15 minutes.
Crush sweet corn flakes in a bowl until they are slightly broken but not powdery.
Coat the batter-covered paneer pieces in the crushed corn flakes, ensuring they are evenly coated.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat and add the coated paneer pieces in batches, frying until golden brown, turning occasionally for even cooking.
Once golden brown, remove the paneer pieces from the oil and serve hot.
