1 tbsp Salt
2 tbsp Pepper Powder
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 cups Soaked Rice
Oil (for frying)
1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Paprika Powder/ Kashmiri Chilli Powder
2 Medium Sized Onions (julienned)
2 cups Carrot (julienned)
Water 2 cups or more

Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add julienned onions and sauté until golden brown.

Add chicken pieces and cook until browned.

Stir in cumin seeds, turmeric powder, and paprika powder, cooking for a few minutes.

Add julienned carrots and sauté until slightly softened.

Add soaked rice and stir to combine with the other ingredients.

Pour in water, ensuring it covers the rice evenly.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover the pot.

Do not open or stir the rice while it cooks until done.
