Tunnbrödsrulle - Wiener Sausage Wrap

Boil water in a pot.

Add 2 onions cut into pieces for flavoring.

Add 4 bay leaves and 1 teaspoon of mixed peppercorn to the water.

Bring the water to a simmer for one minute.

Turn off the heat and add the wiener dogs to the water to warm them up.

In a bowl, combine 1 cup of mayonnaise and 1/2 cup of sour cream.

Add the zest of one lemon to the mixture.

Season with salt and pepper to taste and stir.

Add about 1 cup of chopped dill to the mixture, removing the thickest stems.

Fold in 2 cups of peeled shrimp into the mixture until well combined.

Place the shrimp salad in the fridge until ready to use.

After about 10 minutes, remove the wiener dogs from the water.

Butter the bread lightly for flavor (optional).

Add a layer of mashed potatoes to the bread.

Add some iceberg lettuce on top of the mashed potatoes.

Add a generous dollop of shrimp salad on top.

Add curry ketchup (optional) to the shrimp salad.

Take one wiener dog and place it in the middle of the prepared bread.

Fold up the bottom of the bread, then fold in the sides.

Use a little bit of oil underneath to help hold the wrap together if needed.

Serve with a plastic fork and enjoy.
