¼ cup oil
350g shrimp, cleaned
2 onions, thinly sliced
1½ tomatoes, chopped
1 sprig curry leaves
1½ tsp ginger-garlic paste
⅛ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chili powder
2 tsp curry powder
Salt to taste
Fresh garlic (optional, amount to taste)

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the sliced onions and sauté until translucent.

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes, curry leaves, turmeric powder, chili powder, and curry powder. Cook until the tomatoes soften.

Add the cleaned shrimp and salt. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.

Optionally, add fresh garlic to taste before serving.
