2 cups poha (flattened rice)
2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp red chili powder
10-12 curry leaves
1/4 cup roasted chana dal
1/4 cup raisins
1/4 cup cashews
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp amchur (dried mango powder)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp black mustard seeds
1/4 tsp red chili powder

Start with selecting the right type of poha; use the thinner variety for better results.

Rinse the poha in cold water and strain it to remove excess powder and impurities.

Heat oil in a pan and prepare to fry the poha until it is fluffy and light.
