1 tsp sugar

1/2 cup lukewarm water
A few spoons oil
1/4 cup chopped coriander
1/4 cup melted butter
4-6 garlic cloves (mashed or finely chopped)

Mix yogurt, baking soda, baking powder, salt, sugar, and lukewarm water in a bowl. Whisk and set aside.

In a large bowl, mix the flours and the yogurt mixture to form a dough. If the mixture requires more liquid, add some warm water and knead to form a soft dough.

Let the dough sit covered for 15 minutes to an hour.

Add a tsp of oil and chopped coriander over the risen dough; punch it down and knead well.

Divide the dough into 8 portions. Make balls and roll out on a dusted flour surface to a round or oval shape.

Add a tsp of water on the top surface of the naan and smear well.

Place the watered side bottom down on a hot dry skillet/tawa. Let it cook until bubbles form.

As the naan starts to bubble, flip the skillet over to the open flame and let it cook to a golden brown.

Make garlic oil by combining melted butter, garlic, and chopped cilantro.

Brush the cooked naan with garlic oil and serve hot with curries.
