1/2 cup (120ml) warm water
5 tbsp (60ml) oil or ghee
1 cup (240g) yogurt

Combine 4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/8 tsp baking soda, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp kalonji seeds, and 1 tsp sugar in a bowl.

Dissolve 20g fresh yeast (or 2 tsp active dry yeast) in 1/2 cup warm water and stir until it liquefies.

Divide the dough into 10-12 pieces and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.

Roll each piece of dough into a teardrop shape, rolling outward from the center.

Brush the other side of the naan with water.

Place the naan on a hot skillet with the wet side down and cook for 30-45 seconds.
