Wash chicken with vinegar and lime (off camera)

Thaw injera bread if frozen

Brown chicken in a pan (optional step)

Cook onions on lowest heat for 45 minutes to 1 hour until they turn light brown

Add garlic and ginger to the cooked onions and cook until fragrant

Turn heat back to medium after adding garlic and ginger

Add spiced ghee to the mixture

Serve with thawed injera bread and optional vegetables

Warm injera in the microwave for 30 seconds before serving

Eat the meal with hands, pinching the bread to dip into the sauce
