Chop the vegetables (carrots, potatoes, cabbage) as shown in the video.

Sauté onions in a medium-sized pan on medium heat for about 1 minute until they begin to brown.

Pour in the cooking oil and continue to sauté the onions until they are slightly browned, being careful not to burn them.

Add salt, ginger, garlic, black pepper, and turmeric to the pan and cook on medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes.

Mix in the chopped carrots and potatoes, allowing them to cook for 5 to 10 minutes until they begin to soften.

Add the chopped cabbage to the pan and cover it with a lid, lowering the heat.

Allow the mixture to sit for 10 to 15 minutes, checking and stirring periodically to ensure even cooking.
