2 big Red Onions
1 tablespoon oil
thumb size ginger (crushed)
3-4 garlic pods
2 big tablespoons Berbera spice
salt (to taste)
2 tablespoons Ghee (clarified butter)
3 eggs

Soak chicken drumsticks in 4 cups of water with the juice of 1 lemon for 30 minutes.

Heat a pan over medium heat without adding oil.

Chop 2 big red onions and cook them to caramelize without oil.

Once the onions are caramelized, add 1 tablespoon of oil.

Add crushed ginger and garlic, and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add 2 big tablespoons of Berbera spice and hot water as needed to mix until thick and wet.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of green cardamom powder and 2 tablespoons of ghee, then add salt and cook for 7-8 minutes until oil separates from the mixture.

Wash the soaked chicken drumsticks 2-3 times with fresh water, then add them to the pan along with 1 cup of water.

Cover and cook for 20-25 minutes, stirring in between.

Pierce 3 eggs with a knife to absorb flavor, then add them to the pan and cover to cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
