Roasted Chickpeas

1 small tin of chickpeas
1/2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1/2 teaspoon chives
3/8 teaspoon paprika
3/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder

Drain and dry the chickpeas until they are pretty dry.

Add 1/2 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil to the chickpeas and mix to coat them well.

Prepare the Cool Ranch seasoning mix: combine 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast, 1/2 teaspoon parsley, 1/2 teaspoon chives, 3/8 teaspoon paprika, 3/8 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/4 teaspoon onion powder.

Add the seasoning mix to the chickpeas and mix until all chickpeas are coated in flavorings.

Preheat the air fryer and line the basket with greaseproof paper.

Pour the seasoned chickpeas into the air fryer basket and spread them out into a single layer.

Set the air fryer to 200 degrees Celsius and cook for 15 minutes, checking after 5 minutes.

After 15 minutes, check the chickpeas; they should be hard.

Leave the chickpeas in the air fryer with the door nearly all the way open for an additional 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes, remove the chickpeas; they should be crispy and ready to serve.
