Dal Dhokla

1 tbsp yellow moong dal
1 tbsp green moong dal
1 tbsp toor dal
1 tbsp black urad dal
1 tbsp chana dal
1 chopped tomato
Salt
Red chili powder
Turmeric powder
Dhaniya powder
1 tbsp grated ginger
2 chopped green chilis
1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
Garam masala
Fresh coriander
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp oil
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp ajwain
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp crushed garlic
1 tbsp grated ginger
1 chopped green chili
1 cup finely chopped spinach
1 cup finely chopped fresh methi
1 tbsp oil

Mix all 5 types of dal, wash with water, soak for 30 minutes.

Transfer dal to a pressure cooker, add salt, turmeric powder, tomato, and 1 cup water.

Cook for 3-4 whistles on medium flame, then let it cool.

For tadka, heat oil in a tadka pan, add cumin seeds, green chilis, ginger, garlic, and cook on low flame for a minute.

Add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, and cook for another minute, then add 1 tbsp water and switch off the flame.

Open the lid of the pressure cooker, mix the prepared tadka with the dal and keep aside.

For dhokla, mix whole wheat flour, spices, and vegetables to prepare a soft dough using water.

Divide the dough into four equal parts, make round balls, flatten them, and make a hole with a finger.

Steam the dhoklas on medium to high flame for 15-20 minutes.

Switch off the flame and enjoy the dhoklas with spicy panchmel dal.
