1 cup chickpeas
2 tbsp white sesame
2 garlic
3 or 4 tbsp olive oil
juice of 1 lemon
salt as per taste
5 to 6 ice cubes

Wash and soak the chickpeas overnight.

Pressure cook the chickpeas until soft and not mushy, then peel the outer covering.

Roast the sesame seeds on low flame for a few minutes without changing color.

Grind the sesame seeds into a fine powder using a food processor.

Add the chickpeas, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and salt to the ground sesame and blend into a fine paste.

Add ice cubes and blend again until a smooth creamy texture is achieved.

Remove the hummus into a serving bowl and drizzle with more olive oil and sprinkle with chili powder.
