2 cans chickpeas
1/4 cup liquid from the can or cooking liquid
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
up to 1/3 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup tahini

Chop garlic and turn on the food processor.

Drop garlic cloves through the feed tube while the processor is running.

Add 2 cans of drained chickpeas to the processor.

Add 1/4 cup of the liquid from the can or cooking liquid.

Add 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.

Add lemon juice, starting with a few tablespoons up to 1/3 cup.

Add 1/4 cup of tahini.

Add salt to taste.

Blend or process until smooth.
