Teriyaki Salmon

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each) wild Sakai salmon
1/2 cup keto teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup gluten-free tamari

Rinse the salmon filet and pat it dry really well.

Coat the top and skin side of the salmon with teriyaki glaze generously.

Grease a baking sheet with olive oil or place a sheet of parchment on it.

Place the glazed salmon skin side down on the baking sheet.

Spread the rest of the teriyaki glaze on top of the filet.

Let the salmon marinate for about 30 minutes to an hour.

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Transfer the baking sheet with the salmon into the middle position of the preheated oven.

Set the oven heat to top and bottom and bake for 10-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon filet.

Check if the salmon is done by using a fork to see if it flakes easily or by using a food thermometer in the thickest part of the fish.

Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes before cutting.
