2/3 cup warm water

1 1/2 teaspoon salt
vegetable oil or ghee for cooking the naan
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon salt, more to taste
1 to 2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

In a small bowl, combine the active dry yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until it becomes frothy.
