Garlic naan is a popular Indian flatbread, often served with various curries and dishes. It is traditionally cooked in a tandoor, giving it a unique texture and flavor. Naan has a long history in South Asian cuisine, with variations found across the region. Garlic naan adds a fragrant twist, making it a favorite in many Indian restaurants and homes.

Mix 2 teaspoons of yeast in 8 ounces of warm water until dissolved.
Add 3 ounces of milk to the yeast mixture and mix well.
In a separate bowl, combine 1 pound of flour and 1 tablespoon of salt.
Pour the yeast and milk mixture into the flour and salt mixture and start mixing until a dough forms.
Cut the dough into 4-ounce portions, yielding about 7 pieces.
For each dough piece, dip one side in flour, fold the wet side inside, and pinch the ends to form a dough ball.
Place the dough balls on a floured tray, cover, and let rise for 30 to 45 minutes depending on room temperature.
Once the dough has doubled in size, prepare to bake on a skillet.
Roll out the dough, optionally dipping in cilantro before rolling for flavor.
Cook the rolled dough on a skillet until it has blisters, then remove and brush with garlic butter.
