Garlic naan is a popular Indian flatbread, often served with various curries and dishes. It is traditionally cooked in a tandoor, giving it a unique texture and flavor. Naan has a long history in South Asian cuisine, with variations found across the region. Garlic naan adds a fragrant twist, making it a favorite in many Indian restaurants and homes.

Olive oil is a healthier fat option.
Microwave 270ml water, 15ml unsalted butter, 3g salt, and 2g white sugar for 20-30 seconds.
Mix the microwaved ingredients well.
Add 150g all purpose flour to the mixture and mix.
Chop 10g parsley or green onion finely and add to the batter.
Add 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper to the batter and mix well.
Mash 2 cloves of garlic (optional) and add to the batter.
Heat a pan on medium-low heat and add a bit of oil.
Scoop some batter into the pan and spread it evenly.
Flip the flatbread over and continue to fry both sides until cooked, watching for air bubbles to form inside the flatbread.
Once cooked, remove from the pan and repeat with the remaining batter.
