Add 500g of ground beef to a mixing bowl.
Chop 1 whole onion and add it to the bowl.
Add 3 cloves of minced garlic to the mixture.
Add chopped parsley to the bowl.
Season with salt, 1 tsp of cumin, 1 tsp of paprika, 1 tsp of coriander, and 0.5 tsp of black pepper.
Mix everything together until well combined.
Shape the mixture into meatballs.
Heat cooking oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Fry the meatballs in the hot oil until browned.
Remove the meatballs from the cooking oil and set aside.
In the same skillet, add chopped onions and sauté.
Add 1 tsp of minced garlic to the onions in the skillet.
Stir in 2 tbsps of tomato paste and 2 chopped tomatoes.
Season with salt and 0.25 tsp each of black pepper and cumin.
Add 2 cups of water to the skillet and bring to a simmer.
Add the fried meatballs back into the skillet.
Cook over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
Garnish with parsley before serving.
