Peel the onion, cut it into halves, and slice each half into thin slices.
Peel the garlic cloves and slice them thinly.
Chop the tomato, removing the core and dicing it.
Chop the bell pepper into thin slices or cubes.
Cut the beef into thin slices or bite-sized cubes, cutting against the grain.
Heat 1 tablespoon of ghee in a large pan over high heat.
Add the sliced garlic and fry for 10 to 15 seconds until aromatic.
Add the beef chunks and half of the salt and pepper; sear for 1 to 2 minutes until browned on all sides.
Add the chopped bell peppers and stir fry for 2 minutes until they start to soften.
Add the chopped tomato, remaining salt and pepper, and smoked paprika; stir fry for another 1 to 2 minutes.
Add the onion slices and fold them into the skillet; fry for another 3 to 4 minutes until the meat is cooked and vegetables are tender but slightly crunchy.
Serve warm with fresh lemon, yogurt, and bread.
