3 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 tablespoon lime juice
2 Thai chilis
2 cloves garlic

In a bowl, add 1 cup of really hot water.

Add 3 tablespoons of fish sauce to the hot water and stir to dissolve.

Add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the mixture to help it dissolve faster.

Optionally, you can use lime juice instead of vinegar, but vinegar lasts longer.

Chop 2 Thai chilis and add them to the bowl.

Chop 2 cloves of garlic (do not use pre-chopped garlic) and add to the mixture.
