400 grams chickpeas
tahini
juice of 1 lemon

half a lemon
half a teaspoon salt

Open the tin of chickpeas and drain off about half of the aquafaba.

Pour the entire tin of chickpeas into a bowl.

Mix the oil from the tahini before adding it to the chickpeas.

Add a couple of good-sized spoons of tahini to the chickpeas.

Juice one lemon and one lime, adding more lemon juice if desired, while checking for seeds to avoid bitterness.

Add about half a teaspoon of pink salt to the mixture.

Blend the mixture until smooth, using a spatula to scrape down the sides as needed.

Taste the hummus and add more lime juice if desired.

Blend again until the desired consistency is reached, either coarse or fine.

Transfer the hummus to a bowl and serve with cucumber sticks or other vegetables.
