1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Kashmiri chili powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 tablespoon coriander powder
2 tablespoons garlic paste
1 tablespoon tamarind paste
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 cup water
1 tablespoon ginger
2 fresh chilies
1 medium onion
1 medium tomato
1 cup mango
1 teaspoon pepper
10 curry leaves

Mix all the step 1 ingredients except fish. Apply the masala on the fish and marinate for 1-2 hours in the fridge.

Add the oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot add the marinated fish pieces. Fry both sides 3 minutes on each side. Flip again and cook another 2 minutes on each side. Transfer the fish to a plate OR a paper towel.

To the same oil, once the pan is hot add ginger, green chilli sliced in the middle, onion chopped thin, curry leaves, 1/2 tsp salt and fry for 5-6 minutes. After 6 minutes add the sliced tomato and stir for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes add turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt and chilli powder and stir for 2 minutes. Add the medium ripen mango on top of this. Place the fried fish over the mango. Sprinkle the crushed peppers. Cover and cook another 3 minutes.
