Badam Halwa

1 cup Badam (200 Gm)
1 cup or 1 and 1/4 cup Sugar
5-6 tbs Ghee
3/4 cup to 1 cup Boiled Milk
2 pinch Saffron

Mix saffron in a tbs of hot milk.

Soak badam in hot water for 15 minutes.

Peel the skin as shown.

Grind it along with milk.

Put the badam paste in a microwave safe bowl, add a tsp of ghee and cook in oven in microwave mode for 2 minutes.

Add sugar, mix and cook for 5 minutes. In between take out and mix once.

Add saffron milk and cook for 3 minutes.

Add 4 tbs of ghee, mix well and cook for 2 minutes.

Take out and let it cool for 40 minutes.

Check the consistency. It should not be sticky. If it is sticking you can cook for 2 minutes.

Add rest of the ghee and mix well.

Check the consistency after it gets to room temperature.
